Broke & confused- What now?

You're young and excited. You have an abundance of energy, ideas, and charm, but you don't have direction and money to succeed. The people around you are in a similar situation. You want to explore new options, but you don't know how to. Well, little steps lead to bigger steps, and just by wanting it badly, you are on the right track. There are many ways forward, some ideas needing minimal capital, some ideas just needing hard work and dedication. Repetition is key to success.
Firstly, knowledge is power. Empowering yourself with as many learning tools will open new and fresh opportunities. If you have access to the internet, via libraries which free sessions, you can learn from the many tutorials available.
Also, networking with the right people who can mentor and advise you, will give you the confidence and support to reach goals and open many doors. You can find mentors at free conferences, schools, like-minded industries and face book pages. Asking for help is free - and if one can't help you, there will be someone else. It's a big world out there, with many willing and helpful leaders. We learn from trial and error, so apply sound knowledge and don't give up when you encounter obstacles or dead leads. Mistakes and criticism are tools to improve and necessary for everyone. Use Google or You Tube tutorials when in doubt.
(Example: a good singer took many rehearsals before perfecting a song. A chef took many attempts before his creation was perfected. - You get the picture).
When analyzing your current situation, take a step back and look at the picture. Ask yourself a few questions.
What is it that you are wanting to do?
Where do you see yourself in a short and long term journey?
Who are your support team and where can you get leads & advice from?
Do you need capital to begin your journey, or can you improvise?
Are you willing and able to research & apply your ideas yourself?
Will my ideas sustain me the long or short term, and are they market related?
How do I apply my ideas to grow awareness and succeed?
Just remember that every idea is the beginning to somewhere. You will never know unless you tried. Yes, there are millions of people attempting the same thing, some beginning their journey the same way as you are, but it is the ones who believe in themselves and their ideas, that eventually succeed.
Just like the old saying goes: - one mans junk is another's treasure, so too is the saying: -All journeys begin with an idea and the determination to succeed. It takes time and effort to achieve what you want in life. Nothing is given on a platter. Begin with an idea. Build on that with the skills you acquire and the support you need. Continuous research and dedication rewards progress. You can do this!
